I’m an actor and a writer. New York and Chicago are both home. New York more so these days.
I started off 2024 in Ohio, portraying the iconic cartoonist and memoirist Alison Bechdel in Fun Home.
I lived in Staunton, Virginia in 2023 as a member of the American Shakespeare Center’s summer/fall acting company, playing roles ranging from Kate in The Taming of the Shrew to Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing. In 2022 I appeared as Viola in Twelfth Night and Regan in King Lear with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks’ 50th anniversary tour, and in Chicago as a performing understudy for the Gift Theatre’s world premiere of The Locusts.
One more thing: I’m fluent in Spanish but not Latina. Only 3.1% of active AEA members are Latine as of 2021. Hire Latine actors!
